"O sun and skies and clouds of June
And flowers of June together,
Ye cannot rival for one hour
October's bright blue weather."
And flowers of June together,
Ye cannot rival for one hour
October's bright blue weather."
...Helen Hunt Jackson
It' s Skywatch Friday again, and as the first day of October arrives, what could describe this picture better than the first verse of a poem we memorized in second grade.

The certainly Bright and Blue.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to remember poems we learned a long time ago.
Maybe memorization should return to the class room. MB
This is a very beautiful October sky. The blue is absolutely glorious.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my site.
What glorious blue weather. I do love October!
ReplyDeleteSCS, I agree! I can remember parts of poems and speeches that I memorized in both elementary and high school. It's nice to have those passages tucked away in the brain sometimes!
